Education: BA in Music Performance, Dominican University of CA

Highlights: Has been performing live music professionally since 2010 and teaching music since 2014.

 

My name is Crystal. I moved to Austin from San Francisco in 2013 after receiving my BA in Music from Dominican University of CA. Since moving to Texas, I have sung regularly with many cover bands including The Little Wedding Band, Groove Knight, The New Waves, and Rotel and the Hot Tomatoes. I left Austin briefly from 2017–2019 to perform on cruise ships as a duo with my now husband, Bobby. We now live on land, have two cats, and recently welcomed our baby boy into the world.

I teach voice, piano, and ukulele and enjoy teaching all ages. I love helping music students prepare for a performance, and watching them gain confidence in their ability to be in front of an audience. I work with students to figure out their goals and strengths, and I provide tools and exercises to help improve what they need to work on. I also teach yoga around Austin to both adults and children.
