
Wyatt Corder
Trumpet, Piano, Bass guitar, Guitar - North & South (In person)
Wyatt Corder is a born and raised Austinite who has been playing
professionally in the live music capital since he was 15. He founded Big
Wy’s Brass Band whilst being a junior at Westlake High School and they
have since gone on to play jazz festivals in Guatemala and Costa Rica,
Waterloo Music Festival, The COTA Grand Prix, Austin Hot Sauce Fest,
SXSW music festival and many beloved venues in ATX. In 2021 Wyatt
and singer Allisen Hinojosa founded “Allisen and the Wy’s Guy’s” and
they have enjoy a regular spot on Wednesdays for happy hour at the
Continental Club. Wyatt began playing music in 6th grade as a trumpet
player, and has since picked up guitar, bass, keyboards and ukulele as
well.
As a freelance musician he has played at ACL Festival in 2018, 2019,
and 2021 with Mamafesta, Night Cap and Sir Woman respectively as
well as a set at Red Rocks opening up for Gary Clark Jr. Wyatt
graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with an advertising
degree and spent four years as a college marketing representative at
Sony Music Entertainment, giving him the skill and know-how to
navigate and network in the music industry. He also has been a Radio
DJ at KVRX Austin, in addition to working in the marketing department
of the Erwin Center.
