Originally from California, Lisa started out on the piano at the age of 5 and added the French horn in 5th grade when her music teacher suggested she switch from the trumpet. She played solos in front of the band in 7th and 8th grade, went on to lead the horn section in HS and placed 1st chair in All-State band.
Just like her music teachers passed down technique and traditions going back generations, Lisa likes to introduce students to positive, enjoyable experiences making music while helping them develop their skills and confidence.
